Scott Schrader, a Christian Pastor, Rabbi, and Professor with a Doctorate in Hebrew letters, will lead this meeting and teach the significance of this special day and how Jesus is the ultimate fulfillment of it. We will be celebrating atonement in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) and receiving and giving impartation for this upcoming year! We welcome you to join us!

Childcare Provided For Dinner & The Service

Join us for a powerful prayer night as we gather the day before the 2024 Presidential Election to contend for God’s plan and purpose over our nation. Join us beforehand for dinner in our outdoor tent including chili, salad, and cornbread from 5:30 - 7 pm. The prayer service will begin immediately afterward at 7 pm in the sanctuary.

The evening will start with live worship, followed by a special time of prayer for this significant election. Our goal is to ask God for supernatural guidance, believing in faith that He hears the prayers of His people. We are confident that if we pray, God will answer the prayers of His church and bring the right leaders into office. We will pray corporately as a church and then gather into smaller groups to pray individually. Childcare will be provided from 5:30 pm during dinner under the tent, through the end of the service. The worship portion of the evening will also be livestreamed. Please note that this event will take the place of our regular Monday Night Worship service.

We look forward to uniting in prayer together over the future of our country.

To honor our Veterans, we are hosting a “Celebrate Our Veterans” service on Sunday, November 10 at 10 am in the sanctuary. We will be sharing a special video that honors each Veteran and celebrates these heroes of our country! The boys from our recent Trail Life Troop 1810 will also be hosting a special flag presentation in the service while playing the official song that relates to each branch of the United States Armed Forces.

To prepare, we are collecting photos of both our Veterans and those who are in active service. Please submit all photos by Wednesday, October 30 to Angie Castro at Angie@VineyardLN.com and include the following:

Christmas is right around the corner and our church is THRILLED to bless families in need again this season! One of the ways we plan to do this is by donating gifts and hosting a packing party through Operation Christmas Child. At this packing party, families will come together and stuff shoeboxes with donated gifts that will greatly impact the lives of little ones! Most of the children who will open our shoeboxes have NEVER experienced the joy of receiving a Christmas gift before in their lives. And the best part is that through Operation Christmas Child, they will also receive the greatest story ever told, the Good News of Jesus Christ.

To prepare, we will be collecting school supplies and toys weekly from Sunday, October 20 through Sunday, November 17. This gives families four weeks to shop for these items to drop off on Sunday mornings at our drop-off station at the Vineyard Kids Ministry entrance. Please note that Operation Christmas Child provides toys through the organization, so the greatest need for the children is school supplies.

This Year's Goal: 500 shoeboxes

Our prayer is to stuff 500 shoeboxes this Christmas season! Join us for pizza and packing on Sunday, November 17 after the service! We'll be gathering under the white tent. Enjoy some food and fun as we pack together! What a great way to start a Christmas tradition that emphasizes giving—as the Lord says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). We thank you in advance for your support!

PACKING PARTY DETAILS:

20 people will be needed for the packing party, and there will be a rotation of 10 people for two-hour shifts. Below is the schedule for volunteers.

  • 12-1 pm: Setup and food

  • 12-2 pm: First shift

  • 2-4 pm: Second shift (includes clean up)

Bins of supplies will be supplied and we will need our volunteers to monitor them and ensure that only ONE ITEM is placed in each box.

Our setup team from the 12-1 pm shift will prep the following:

  • 10 bins of supplies

  • Box making station

  • Label station

  • Prayer and letter station

  • Food support and greeters

  • Break down team

We only need one of each item per shoebox. We will provide pizza and lemonade.

Join us THIS Monday for a special night of worship featuring Eddie Espinosa at 7 pm in the sanctuary. Eddie is a seasoned worship leader, songwriter, and recording artist with a rich history in the Maranatha Praise Bands and the Vineyard movement.

You may know Eddie from his well-loved song, "Change My Heart, O God." Learn the story behind this timeless song in Eddie’s own words below.

"The year was 1982. I had been a Christian since 1969, but I saw a lot of things in my life that needed to be discarded. I had slowly become very complacent. I acknowledged my complacency, and I prayed to the Lord, 'The only way that I can follow you is for you to change my appetite, the things that draw me away. You must change my heart!'"

Eddie continued, "Shortly thereafter I was in my car on the way to my work, feeling a desire to draw near to God and with the wrestling still going on in my heart. Suddenly, a melody and some words began to flood through my mind. As I stopped at a stop sign I reached for something to write on. The first thing I found was a small piece of yellow paper, which, by the way, I still have, and began to write as rapidly as I could. It was like taking dictation. I wrote the words on the paper, and kept the melody in my mind."

Opening Day is almost here for our Christian Boy Scout Troop CA-1810!

As we bid farewell to summer and welcome the new scouting year, we are excited to greet our returning members and extend a warm welcome to new members and visitors interested in Trail Life. Our first troop meeting of the year will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM PST

The first meeting of the year is extra special because we host our open house for visitors and invitees to explore our scouting program. We'll set up a mock campsite featuring a variety of camp games like cornhole, jumbo Jenga, and more for everyone to enjoy. There will be music, food, and water to keep everyone engaged while our troop leadership highlights key aspects of Trail Life.

To ensure a successful opening day, we need every troop member to contribute by inviting family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and church members who have boys eligible for Trail Life. We're looking for like-minded individuals who love Jesus, embrace a Biblical worldview, and enjoy the great outdoors to join us on the trail. So, mark your calendars—you won’t want to miss this event!

Mari Helart is the Worship Pastor of Young Saints at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. She also pastors Jr High & High School alongside her husband Rory. The two have a heart to see people grow, develop, and step into the wildness of the Holy Spirit; becoming a resting place for the Holy Spirit and becoming Wild Ones for His Glory.

With family dinners, games by the fire, and the chance to fan the flame of your faith, this camp offers a unique family vibe experience. Gather around fire pits with chairs, enjoy delicious meals, and participate in exciting games that foster a sense of community.

While surfing is a bonus activity, what truly matters is the time spent together, building strong relationships and creating lasting memories. Bring your tents or RVs and join us for a beach stay, access to a clubhouse, and all meals included for just $100.

SCHEDULE

SAN ONOFRE Camp Pendleton: Led by Chad Dedmon & Bethel Team

Day 1: Arrive at 3:00 pm on base, unpack, set up camp, and enjoy a special dinner, fellowship, worship, and campfire located at the Beach Resort.

Day 2: Surf & Breakfast at 8:00 am, early to the beach, surf all morning, lunch, back at camp, session two, free time, dinner, and recreation.

Day 3: Breakfast, ministry time, goodbyes and check out 10 am. You may stay on the base and enjoy the beach. 

COST

 $100 per person (cost covers Beach Club Resort Campsite, food, group activities, surf lessons & more) 

CANCELLATIONS/REFUND POLICY

There are no refunds. If you need to cancel because of a medical emergency, a signed doctor’s note is required to access refunds. 

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

Check-In on the first day of camp is at 3 pm and Check-Out on the last day is at 8:00 pm.

DIRECTIONS

We will meet at the San Onofre military base entrance off Basilone. Your name will be listed at the gate entrance.  To ensure you're on the list, we will need a copy of your ID information or passport two weeks in advance for a background check.

CAMP SAFETY

We take safety very seriously at our surf camps. Lifeguards monitor the beaches where we surf each day. We encourage students to wear bright rash guards, visible and identifiable with the group. All beginners will use high-quality, soft boards and surf in shallow water. Our instructors have taught many students.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Our family campers will be staying in tents or RVs on the upper deck lawn, with beautiful ocean views. Our base camp will be located near the sandy beach, which includes bathrooms, showers, a playground, and volleyball courts. Additionally, there's a Beach Resort within walking distance for guests to enjoy each day. We also have some special guests lined up for the event. We will be on either T-street, Beacon, Old Mans or Terra Mar.

We will have special guests from Bethel: surfer Chad Dedmon and founder of Catch the Wave surf ministry and his team!

EQUIPMENT

The ocean is usually warm enough to wear a bathing suit. However, we do recommend that you bring a wetsuit if you have one. We do have some wetsuits that you can use at no additional cost. We also highly recommend using under armor style compression shorts for the fellas, for both under the wet suit or under board shorts. It helps prevent chafing. If chafing occurs early in the week, it can negatively impact a camper’s experience. A heavier cloth pair of lycra-type underwear will prevent this. The use of a beginner surfboard is also included in the cost of the camp. Our surfboards are soft beginner boards that are great for learning. Please do not bring your own surfboard if you are a beginner. Hard surfboards are not good and/or safe for learning. If you are an intermediate or advanced surfer, you can bring your own surfboard.

CAMP PACKING LIST

Here is a list of things you will need to bring!

  • Tent

  • Sleeping bag

  • Pillow

  • Medications with instructions

  • Backpack

  • Spending money for the snack bar

  • Bath Towel

  • Beach towels

  • Toiletries

  • Sunglasses/Chapstick/ zinc-oxide sunblock that stays on well in water.

  • Shorts and T-Shirts

  • Warmer clothes for the night (it cools off a bit at night)

  • Bible

  • Surfboard, wax & leash (only if you have one. Not Mandatory)

  • Wetsuit (if you have one. Not Mandatory)

  • Water shoes

  • Swimsuit (Girls must wear a one-piece or tankini, or if they have a two-piece, they must wear a shirt or rash guard over it.)

  • Hat/visor

  • Notebook = a good journal for campers, encouraging them to physically write down words/thoughts on paper rather than if they were to make an effort via typing or speaking into their device.

  • Under-armor-styled compression shorts for fellas. For the guys, chafing is a common reaction to saltwater and friction of clothing. The same goes for under a fella’s board shorts (the term often referred to by surfers as their swimsuit). We recommend an under-armor-type protection layer under the board shorts also, even if they wear wet suits while in the water. They will eventually get out, shed the wet suits, and enjoy beach activities.

  • Food if dietary restrictions

  • Flash/light or headlamp = again, something other than the encouragement of using one’s device as a flashlight.

Soul Breakthrough is a four-week class designed to help you walk in the healing you have received in Jesus, by bringing the Holy Spirit into your everyday life. 

In this class you will partner with the Holy Spirit in renewing your mind by changing old habits and ways of thinking, and instead, learn how to think and feel as a “new creation in Christ” 2 Corinthians 5:17.

One recent testimony is from a woman who could no longer drive her car because of panic attacks. The Holy Spirit set her free and not only is she driving again, but she can feel the Lord in the car with her now!

The class starts Wednesday, July 10 through July 31 from 6:30 to 9 pm in the Sanctuary. The class cost is $30 and a workbook is included. Childcare is provided.

CR8 Camp is a one-week, half-day summer camp where kids dive deep and explore the depths of God’s love. This Summer, we will take kids on an Aquafun undersea adventure where they will experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. Through Vineyard Kids Scuba, kids will be immersed in God's Word and discover what “living water” is all about!

Worship will be led by Chad Smith and Travis from “Your Friends Band”. Each day will include captivating messages from Angie Castro, our VLN Leaders, and the Theatre of Arts Team.

Games will involve water activities and a large water slide on Friday (please bring a change of clothes). Kids will dive into all God has for them with our CR8 Arts, including Hydro-dipped water bottles. Crazy Cool CR8 Snacks will also be provided with underwater themes!

CR8 Camp is our version of Vacation Bible School (VBS). Join us for this fun week on our church campus at Vineyard Laguna Niguel from Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 14 from 9 am to 12 pm daily.

Brenton is a Vineyard worship leader who has written many top-charting songs including “Everlasting God,” “Lion And The Lamb,” “You Know My Name,” and Vineyard originals “All Who Are Thirsty” and “Lord Reign In Me”. He has written for well-known artists including Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Amy Grant, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Mac Powell, and many others. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Brenton and his wife currently reside just outside of Los Angeles with their two daughters. Brenton continues writing songs and working on musical projects to bless the hearts and prayers of God’s people.

Join us for an electrifying Mother's Day at our church as we welcome the dynamic guest speaker Ken Fish to lead our 10 am service in the main sanctuary on Sunday, May 12! This service will also include a worship performance by our Kids Ministry, a fun-filled Photo Booth, and a special Gift for every cherished mother.

Ken Fish worked full-time for John Wimber for several years at Vineyard Ministries International (VMI). Among his duties at VMI, he worked on various aspects of the conferences that were a hallmark of the early Vineyard movement, including researching and ghost-writing for John Wimber. He has traveled extensively as a conference speaker, teaching on wide variety of topics ranging from leadership and spiritual formation, church growth and revival, biblical authority and exposition, to prophecy and healing and deliverance.

Ken Fish is a native of the Los Angeles area and an honors graduate of Princeton University with a degree in History and Philosophy of Religion. He earned his Master of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary with emphases in theology and intercultural communications. He also holds an MBA in finance and strategy from UCLA’s Anderson Graduate School of Management. 

Ken Fish is the founder of Orbis Ministries, an organization and ministry school that aims to train and equip Christian leaders on how to transform culture based on the values and practices of the Kingdom of God.

Regional Live-Streamed Event

Join us as we unite for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2, at 6:30 pm in our sanctuary. This is a big year for our nation and we must collectively pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done! Vineyard, Laguna Niguel is hosting and live-streaming this regional worship and prayer event to intercede for many topics. We invite our local community to join us, including La Vina Spanish Ministry, Vineyard Young Adults Ministry, the Mercy Warehouse Staff, Family Church OC, and others. Childcare with kids’ activities, including bounce houses, pizza, and more, will also be provided for this occasion.

MEAL AND PRAYER:

We will start the night with a meal in our outdoor tent at 5 pm, followed by prayer at 6:30 pm in the sanctuary.

A CALL TO FAST:

We also encourage you to participate in a corporate fast on this day before our gathering time. This fast can begin the morning of the National Day of Prayer and end with our dinner at 5 pm. If you would like to participate, please seek the Lord on which way He is calling you to fast. Some fasting methods include a water-only fast, only liquids, a Daniel fast, or fasting something other than food.


National Day of Prayer is a yearly day of observance established by the U.S. Congress, where the President signs a proclamation encouraging all Americans “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.” We invite you to join our church as we seek the counsel of the Lord through prayer and intercession in the mighty name of Jesus!
